About

Remember to treat your friends like family and your family like friends!

There are some things in life that definitely give you a reason to pause and take a good look around you. A time to reassess. Maybe it comes from a place of sadness or a place of happiness, the loss of a loved one or the birth of your first child or grandchild. I have experienced all of these as well as the sudden realization that I would never have experienced the full meaning of any of them if I did not have people around me during those times.

I have learned so many wonderful things while traveling on my own road through life that (as the old saying goes) if we all threw our troubles into the center of the table, we would quickly snatch back our own. Good or Bad.

This Blog is for anyone who has been pedaling along in life and suddenly realizes that in order to truly be happy we need to connect to something much bigger…each other.

Please take the time at least once a week to gather a group and socialize. Keep conversation light, make some snackies, engage your whole family and chill. We are not here to go it alone and nothing is “by chance”.

Life is a very long journey, take some friends along to keep you company. I’m glad you’re here and hope you’ll come back again and again. Kathy

Thanks. It has been great to write about everything I love so much…family, friends, cooking, even shopping! LOL I can’t believe how many have emailed me behind the scenes to say it has made them feel better after reading it. I am completely humbled by that. Keep reading, I love hearing about it. (wish I knew how to create those cute little hearts everybody does! Oh well, the thought is there) Kathy

I change my kitchen almost every month or season. Next up is still seaside but coral and seahorses. I love to decorate and cook it makes me happy when I walk in the Kitchen every morning. I am also going to try to create some recipes from seasonal foods that most people would pass by in the grocery store in an effort to get folks to eat more healthy. We’ll see how that goes! LOL
